Groups
When more than one adult supports a child, a group lets them share the picture without sharing a login: co-parents, tutors, teachers, a school.
What are groups?
A group is a named set of adults and the children enrolled in it. Each adult has a role that decides what they can see and do, from read-only to a parent's level of trust. Groups can be nested, so a tutoring group can live inside a family's group.
Who are groups for?
- • Families, including parents in two homes, who want to follow their children's learning together.
- • Schools and tutors who need to see a child's work with the access the family chose.
- • Organisations running structured learning programmes for many children.
What you get
- • Seven roles: owner, admin, custodian, tutor, teacher, reviewer and member.
- • Invite adults by email or with an invitation code. Invitations expire after 7 days.
- • Enroll children with the parent's consent built in. Only the roles you allow can enroll a child.
- • Sub-groups for a class inside a school, or a tutor inside a family.
- • Conversation summaries, safety logs and recaps for every enrolled child, according to each member's role.
